James and the Colour Green
Like our website, our packaging and brochures are designed in-house. Everything, right down to the liners for our presentation boxes, is printed locally on FSC certified paper. We even have our own friendly print handler, James, who ensures that everything comes off the presses to our exact requirements – we’re very fussy about the colour green.
We don't laminate our boxes with plastic, and we don't use a seal or varnish; in most circumstances, these are uneccessary chemical processes, and we like the simple plain paper finish. For more info on environmentally aware printing and graphics, visit lovely as a tree.
Even our boxes are hand made. The company that makes them was established in the 19th century, and has been run by the same family for five generations. The workshop is situated in a once-famous London dockyard, on an old riverside industrial estate southeast of the city.
