Jo Thorne's study of a dragonfly has art deco inspired styling with an innovative use of materials.
The in-laid translucent resin is highly polished to give the pieces a delicate, luminescent quality; and the metal is given a 'butler' finish, a polishing technique that brings out the deep lustre of the silver.
Both the silver and resin are very fine, so the pieces are lightweight but durable - ideal for wearing in the hair.
